The Slab Dining Table is constructed using hand hewn beams and old cabin logs straight from the time when drywall was not an option, and a 2x8 from the local lumberyard was not available to be a floor joist! We take great pride in bringing you this table from the backwoods of Kentucky built from some of the oldest settlements and barns available in the country. Some of the trees in this collection are 120 plus years old based on the number of growth rings, and typically come from buildings 150 years old, meaning the tree you will become familiar with took root around 300 years ago!!! Own a piece of American history today.
This beautifully handcrafted piece features a live edge, bookmatched planks, dutchman joinery and is constructed from reclaimed solid white oak. The table can also be constructed with a square "clean" edge, and with a metal base.
Please enjoy the video below in which Tommy takes you face to face with a "bullpen" barn full of old white oak logs that are currently being processed for the newest tables in the collection!
